Insanity at Sea - Radioactive dumping in Japan
I know it cannot be just me, however is it not astounding in the extreme
that so very little is being said about this disaster of immense
proportions????
This article sums it up very well for me:
http://www.naturalnews.com/031963_radiation_exposure.html#ixzz1IdhtJIY
This is insane and so horribly tragic. Sea water does not disperse
radiation any more than the soil, air or water disperses any toxic
contaminants. The compounds that make up all man made toxins are simply
dispersed (into soil, food, fat, muscle, blood, water etc etc) they do not
cease to exist, nor do they cease to cause irreparable damage simply because
they have been 'dispersed'.
Furthermore, All this talk of climate change and now disturbingly,
'tweaking' the climate is another insanity,
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/environment/news/article.cfm?c_id=39&objectid=10717764&ref=rss
these
are desperate acts to explain and control the uncontrollable.
The planet is a living being, cow poo (although dirty dairy farming
practices do contaminate a shocking amount of waterways and lakes), and
aeroplanes are not creating the shifts in climate.
How is it that mention is rarely made of burning coal in industry, toxic
substances used in manufacturing, the thousands of chemicals that have been
released into the environment that attack the endocrine system, hormone
mimics, pesticides, plastic and agri chemicals - the list is endless. Lets
look on the bright side, there are some fantastic innovations happening and
that is encouraging. We all have a responsibility to live as lightly as
possible on the earth, which is achievable to varying degrees...
I recall reading my natural history books from a young age. I loved those
books and I spent many hours reading them. One of my favorites was geology
and I remember looking at the pictures of the earths continents and
wondering, "if all those changes have happened over time, who is to say it
won't happen again, how can they stay like this forever (the landmasses)?"
Well exactly! it is going on right now, and it will continue to do so at an
increasing rate. However there is a message - we cannot control, and we have
violated this planet. Earth is alive, she is waking up, the earth is heating
*up from the inside* - what is going to happen when more earthquakes and
tsunamis damage further nuclear reactors? not to mention radioactive waste
dumps, mining waste sites, and toxic waste sites in general. and that is
just the tip of the iceberg, pardon the pun.
Humility, unity, harmony, respect - where are these attitudes to the earth?
There is no controlling unlimited power
Peace
I'm off to enjoy this lovely Sunday morning : )
