Oppose the Shakespeare Regional Park Brodifacoum Drop
This is from Poison Free NZ - sadly I am not in the least surprised that
this got approved, now all we can do is watch the carnage unfold when they
do the drop. It's OK though, because the valiant Sea Slug is standing
faithfully by to act as a scapegoat.

The application for the Brodifacoum Drop on Shakespeare Open Sanctuary has
been granted.
As many of you know the application for the poison drop has been granted.
We presented an incredible case against the drop, and I'm sure if the
commissioners at the hearing were truly independent the application would
never have been granted.
After consultation with FOE, we have sadly decided not to appeal this
decision.
The recent changes in the appeal proceedings could have resulted in huge
financial implications, and the chances of winning an appeal would be low.
I'm really disappointed and frustrated about this.
I have changed the online submission to our ministers. It now opposes the
decision.
Please take a couple of minutes to fill it in, pass the link to your friends
and please also put the link on your facebook page.
We can and should still put pressure on.
Thank you all for you help.

Local Shakespeare Park Support Group
There is a local group who are informing people with house to house leaflet
drops. It's amazing how many local people are oblivious to what's going on.
They are also planning a protest.
I will keep you in touch.
Please let me know if you can help out in anyway.
They need more local support.
Thank you all
